This is a listing of all of the currently active Track and Field Clubs in the Greater Edmonton area. Each club here will cater to different events in Track and Field including but not limited to: sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long distance, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot put, hammer throw, discus, javelin, and more!
Capital City Track Club
The Capital City Track Club has over 30 years of history behind them, they have an established place in the athletics community in Edmonton and are always working to grow our sport within the central Alberta region.

Edmonton International Track Club
Edmonton International Track Club exists to ensure that all things required to pole vault are available for athletes in and around Edmonton. Our group trains out of the Butterdome on the U of A campus for the indoor season and Foote Field in the outdoor season. Club track members are welcome to drop in and do not need to be members of EITC. We focus on both the developmental and elite stages of athlete development.

Edmonton Columbians Track and Field Club
The Edmonton Columbians are a nonprofit Track and Field Club with a large membership open to children, youth, adults and Masters age athletes. Our Track and Field Club maintains a very high standard of team work and competition, while representing individuals coming together as one tight knit group to work together, while pushing each other to achieve personal bests.

Edmonton Harriers Track and Field Club
The Edmonton Harriers Track and Field Club was founded in 1984, and has since been fostering the development of athletics and our athletes’ potential for ‘Personal Best’ through training and competition in a positive and supportive environment. We provide coaching for athletes age 10 and up, in the disciplines of track and field and cross-country running. We also take pride in our history as hosts of several annual events for elementary school-aged children in an effort to promote running and fitness through fun and exciting competition. Edmonton Olympic Track & Field Club
Welcome to the Edmonton Olympic Track and Field Club (EOC). Our Club has a proud tradition dating back to its original 1929 formation as the first track and field club in Alberta. EOC’s coaches are all former EOC athletes and their combined experience includes provincial, national and international competition and coaching experience.
At EOC we not only train track and field athletes, we train all who are wanting to better themselves. Whether it’s soccer, football, hockey, rugby or any other sport; our training will make you faster, stronger and an overall more competitive athlete.

Edmonton Thunder Track and Field Club
Specializes in cross country, middle distance, sprinting, hurdling and field events. Edmonton Thunder is a community based minor sports association committed to developing and promoting the sport of athletics in Edmonton since 1994. Located at Kinsmen for indoor and Rollie Miles for outdoor.

Edmonton Masters Athletics Association
Founded in 1986 to facilitate Health and Wellness of Master Athletes through participation in Track and Field Athletics and to assist them in pursuing their goals. Open to Athletes 30 years or older. Programs offered include experienced coaching in Sprints, Middle and Long Distance running, Jumps and some Throws.

Green & Gold Track and Field Club
The Green & Gold Track & Field Club (GGTFC) is an inclusive athletics club based at the University of Alberta, within Golden Bears and Pandas Athletics and the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. The club provides intentional and purposely designed developmental and high performance opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers via training, competition, and educational platforms.

Steadward Bears
The Steadward Bears Para-Athletics Team allows you to engage in a variety of track & field activities, such as running, jumping, throwing and wheeling. You will have the opportunity to focus on one area or develop skills in multiple disciplines. With the support of qualified coaches and Adapted Physical Activity consultants, you will focus on skills related to success in track & field activities. The Steadward Bears will support you whether you are just learning the sport or have competitive sport goals in mind. The Steadward Bears work in partnership with the Green & Gold Track and Field Club.

Grizzly endurance Club
Welcome to Edmonton’s Premier Endurance Athletics Club. Grizzly Endurance are affiliated with the University of Alberta Golden Bears & Pandas Cross-Country and Track & Field Team Programs. Our club offers programs to athletes ranging from age 12 and older who are interested in competing in both Cross-Country and Track & Field. The club’s multiple training programs all follow and support the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model set out by Athletics Canada to serve the best interest of our athletes. Our coaching staff is NCCP certified and trained in developing athletes to compete at a provincial and national level.

Leduc Track Club is a longstanding club, who prides themselves on developing athletes to their highest potential, by providing registered coaches, fundamental training, and competition opportunities throughout Alberta and beyond - all while keeping fees affordable. Athletes are offered a chance to train and compete for the indoor, outdoor and cross country seasons.

St. albert Mustangs
The St. Albert Mustangs Track and Field Club is a non-profit club offering instructional track and field training for athletes aged 8-18. We follow the Athletics Canada “Run Jump Throw” Program for Junior Development, and as our athletes reach senior levels, they can focus on specific events, such as sprints, distance and jumps. In the Indoor season, Junior Development athletes train at Servus Place in St. Albert, and Midgets and older train at the Kinsmen Field House in Edmonton. In the Outdoor season, all of our athletes train at Fowler Athletic Park in St. Albert.

GO ATHLETICS Club is a dedicated minor sports association committed to year-round running excellence. We specialize in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track events. While our main focus is on developing middle to long-distance runners, we also coach sprinters, jumpers, and athletes in various field events.
Beyond training, we host community drop-in sports, occasional running competitions, and a lively cross country summer camp every August.
